Moskva – Myshkin – Goritsy –On sail - Mandrogi – Valaam – St.Petersburg
We will sail along the largest lakes of Europe – Ladoga and Onega – and will have an opportunity to reach the remote and most picturesque Northern islands – Valaam and Kizhi.
- Myshkin – one of the smallest Russian towns with its legendary Mouse museum and Russkie valenky museum.
- Goritsy – beautiful and marvelous Kirillo-Belozersky monastery, founded by one of the hermits of Russia - the Reverend Kirill. It is also where Patriarch Nikon, ideologist of the Russian church split, spent the last five years of his life in exile.
- Mandrogi – a village, where the original way of life in the northern part of ancient Russia was restored in every detail. You will feel yourself in the past taking a walking tour and enjoying your lunch in the open air accompanied with the Russian folk music.
- Valaam – a most beautiful island-monastery, that can be reached only by water. Walking tour in the central estate with visits to hermitages.
- St.Petesburg - the final port of call is the Northern Capital of Russia, where if you wish, you can see all the famous imposing palaces.
- Day 1
Moscow - Embarkation in the North river port. Departure.
- Day 2
Myshkin - Walking tour with visits to: The unique Mouse museum. “Russian valenky” museum. Exhibition “Transformation of linseed” Assumption Cathedral.
- Day 3
Goritsy - Visit to Kirillo-Belozersky monastery. Bus tour to Ferapontov monastery (if the stop lasts more than 3.5 hours).
- Day 4
On sail - Day 5
Mandrogi - Walking tour around the Russian village, visit to craftsmen house, Vodka museum with vodka tasting, Zoo, Lukomorye (a park with wooden sculptures). Lunch in the open air (shashlyk) to Russian folk music.
- Day 6
Valaam - Walking tour around the central estate. Visit to Nicholskym Voskresensky, Gefsimansky hermitages; hermitage of All the Saints (by bus).
- Day 7
Saint-Petersburg - Arrival. Excursion program (upon request). Disembarkation.
