Kostroma
City tour: Central Susanin’s Square, the famous fire-tower, General Borschyev’s house, shopping street, monuments to Susanin, Lenin, Ostrovsky’s pavilion. Visit to the museum-reserve -the Ipatyevsky monastery.
Day 4
Yaroslavl
City tour: Historical buildings, the first Russian theatre, Epiphany Square and Epiphany Cathedral, monument to Yaroslavl the Wise, “Strelka” – the place of confluence of the rivers Kotorosl and Volga Visit to the architectural monuments of the Transfiguration monastery and Church of Ilya the Prophet.
