Charter Fees shall be paid on per night basis. Fifty percent (50%) of the Charter Fee shall be paid on the date the Contract is signed. The rest fifty percent (50%) of the charter fee shall be paid 30 days prior to the date of commencement of the charter period. Thirty (30) days prior to the date of commencement of the Charter Period Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) at the rate of twenty percent (20%) of the Charter Fee shall be paid. The APA shall be transferred to the Captain to pay all the operating costs. If the balance remaining becomes insufficient, in the light of current expenditure, the Captain informs about the necessity to extend a credit to maintain an adequate balance. At the end of the Charter Period, the Captain shall present a detailed daily account of expenditure with as many supporting receipts as possible and shall repay any balance overpaid. The costs of yacht delivery to the port of Delivery and back, as the case may be, shall be paid in addition to the Charter Fee and APA, thirty (30) days prior to the date of commencement of the Charter Period. Traditionally, at the end of the Charter Period the passengers thank the crew. The suggested amount of gratuities is 5-10% of the Charter Fee.
